Lovin’ Chocolate—Chocolate Bricks

Chocolate Bricks, dairy free, maple syrupRidiculously simple:

  1. Melt 1 cup coconut oil
  2. remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup raw honey or maple syrup
  3. stir in 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  4.  optional: add 1/3 cup or so chopped nuts, raisins, both…
  5. spread onto a parchment lined baking dish, let cool and slice

Alternate #2

More nutritious and just as simple:

  • 1 avocado mashed
  • 1 tablespoon of raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
  • mix and spread to harden

Get fancy and add vanilla extract
